Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of Application

The following General Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the Recipely platform. Deviating conditions of the user will not be recognized unless the provider expressly agrees to their validity in writing.

2. Description of Services

Recipely is a platform for discovering, saving, and sharing cooking recipes. Users can create their own recipes, upload images, and create collections. The provider endeavors to ensure the platform is available without interruption as much as possible, but cannot guarantee this.

3. Registration and User Account

Registration is required for full use of the platform. The user is obliged to provide truthful information during registration and to keep their access data confidential. There is no entitlement to registration.

4. User Obligations

The user undertakes not to post any content that violates applicable law or public morality. In particular, it is prohibited to upload copyrighted content without appropriate authorization. The user indemnifies the provider from all third-party claims that they assert against the provider due to a violation of rights by the user.

5. Usage Rights

By posting content (recipes, images, texts), the user grants the provider a simple, free, geographically and temporally unlimited right of use to display, store, and make this content publicly accessible on the platform.

6. Liability

The provider is liable for intent and gross negligence. For slight negligence, the provider is only liable in the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations. Liability for data loss is limited to the typical recovery effort that would have been incurred if backup copies had been made regularly and in accordance with the risk.

7. Amendment of Terms and Conditions

The provider reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be informed of changes in good time. If the user does not object to the validity of the new Terms and Conditions within four weeks of notification, the amended Terms and Conditions shall be deemed accepted.

8. Final Provisions

The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
